A Visual Journey of Six Talented Artists
The Vietnam–France Art Exchange Exhibition 2026 officially opened to the public at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City.
Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) in collaboration with IDECAF, this special cultural event marks the 237th National Day of the French Republic (14 July 1789 – 14 July 2026). It serves as a vital diplomatic and cultural bridge, further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
The exhibition showcases a sophisticated collection of contemporary fine arts from six prominent Vietnamese and French painters:
Bui Suoi Hoa
Le Thuy Delmont
Mathilde Granveau
Le Phi Hung
Nguyen Hoai Huong
Nguyen Minh Quang
Each piece beautifully harmonizes Western oil and canvas techniques with Eastern aesthetic sensibilities, exploring multifaceted perspectives on humanity, nature, and urban vitality.
The grand opening was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Étienne Ranaivoson, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside art enthusiasts, students, and members of the French expat community.
